Re: Dashboard stops working when several chart fonts are referenced to a cell

Update:

I have not found a fix to use a cell as a reference to a color code. What I did instead is I created a custom theme and and changing most of my colors in my theme. Whatever my theme does not control, I'll change the color under appearance in the component properties with a custom RGB color. The one problem with this work around is if you make any changes to the theme after making a change to an individual component the theme will override the component custom color. For example:

  1. In the theme, I do not assign a color to a series in a column chart.
  2. I changed the font color in the theme.
  3. I assign a custom color to my series in my column chart in the component properties to green for example.
  4. If I go back to my theme to change something completely different (anything) it will change my series color (green) to whatever the theme has.

This is a problem if you have 1 graph that you want different colors than the rest of your graphs for example if you introduce forecasting to one chart but not the rest and you want your forecast data as a different color than the rest.

Hope this helps anyone else with this problem. Please share how you overcome this if you do come across this problem.
